HMG’s 827 Series RAL 5011 Steel Blue offers a rich, understated blue in a semi-gloss finish that’s ideal for architectural and industrial use. This Qualicoat Class 1 approved polyester powder coating provides excellent UV and corrosion resistance, making it perfect for outdoor and indoor metalwork where both aesthetics and long-term performance matter.

Technical Overview

Base: Thermosetting polyester

Gloss Level: Semi-gloss (approx. 69 ± 7)

Film Thickness: 60–100 µm recommended

Cure Schedule:

  • 10–30 mins @ 180°C object temp
  • 7–20 mins @ 190°C

Application: Corona or Tribo electrostatic spray

Shelf Life: 24 months (cool, dry storage <20°C)
